Foundry cast steel, the parts are obtained directly by solidification of the liquid metal in the footprints of refractory materials which reproduce the shapes and dimensions of the final parts ready for use. The molded or cast steels are characterized by a wide variety of chemical compositions. The alloying elements such as management Mn, chromium Cr. molybdenum Mo. nickel Ni. silicon Si…. confer particular properties.

These steels with austenitic structure have a very high impact resistance and their resistance to abrasion will depend on their work hardening.

• Hardness after work hardening: 50 HRC
