The DMCr composite wear plates are made of a plate covered with resistant alloys abrasion and erosion by arc welding under flux. This innovative process guarantees a mixing zone with thin base material. Rapid cooling of the melt, results in the creation of ultra-hard phases embedded in a solid matrix comprising primary chromium carbide homogeneously dispersed from the base metal to the surface of the cords.
